OUR HISTORY
In 2004, Owner Dean Nordstrom's vision was to develop a source of local hockey news that would be free of charge and available to anyone in Colorado in order to promote hockey at all levels. The first issue of Colorado Hockey Insider was published by Score Publising in March of 2004, featuring the Colorado Eagles and Colorado Avalanche post-seasons. Score Publishing has published a total of nine issues of CHI per year, from October through May, including one issue during the summer.

In 2007, Score Publishing decided to broaden its sports coverage to football. CFI debuts in November of 2007 with the first of 10 monthly issues.

Also joining the coverage of youth sports across Colorado are Colorado Baseball Insider (Oct. 2007), Colorado Basketball Insider (Nov. 2007), Colorado Lacrosse Insider (Jan. 2008), and Colorado Soccer Insider (Jan. 2008).

MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to provide Colorado with a free source for local youth sports news. We offer readers complete, statewide coverage of news, events, stories and games while promoting players at all levels and providing readers with informative and exciting stories and photos. We give back to Colorado players and fans by giving the community a voice to be heard!
